Kudoz celebrated the growth and learning of all Kudoers and Hosts through a Badging Ceremony on May 18th, 2016.
“Pride.” That’s the word family members have used most often to describe the value of Kudoz to their son or daughter. Earning a badge seems to be a celebrated milestone in a period that can otherwise be devoid of developmental markers. After high school graduation, too many adults with a developmental disability enter diversionary programming which has no clear markers of success. We gave out 23 badges to Kudoers. As well as certificates indicating “Moments of Significance” and profiles to show just how far they’ve come.
25 Hosts also received a badge for hosting three or more experiences.
We left touched, excited, and thankful for the opportunity to share the journeys of everyone involved.
Below, we’ve shared two videos–
