A Kudoer, Vivi, recently started hosting her own experience. I sat down with Vivi to go back to the beginning and find out about her journey through Kudoz. I asked her how she’d felt when she started.
“The first time I did Kudoz, I was like… my heart was pounding and I was like, I’m scared of what might go wrong. After a couple months, I kept doing Kudoz, I felt happier, easier.”
I asked Vivi what she’d learned on experiences.
“Well, what I learned about myself is I have courage to meet people, to find perspective. I have courage to do challenging things, to be braver to challenge someone. Courage to meet people. I know it’s a little scary….It’s kinda hard to introduce sometimes when you’re meeting people, get along with and meet people a few times.”
I asked her what impact Kudoz hosts had on helping her overcome these challenges. “They helped me to build confidence, be more outdoors, find relationships, connect with friends.”
These days, Vivi is building her confidence as a Kudoz host herself! I asked her to think back to before, when she was nervous and… “BORED!” she interrupted me.
“Kudoz has got me out doing more things. It’s like no one tells me what to do now, I’m an adult, no one tells me what to do. Since I was a little kid people told me what to do. Sometimes I was so lazy, I didn’t do anything, I was stuck. If someone tells me what to do, I can do it, but I’m in charge.’ .
