Cities like New Westminster are building a staff culture of inclusion and getting a deeper understanding of the diverse needs of all their residents! A city of learning shares Kudoz’ values of reciprocity, stigma-busting, and lifelong learning. What does it take to be a city of learning? Your staff host 10 or more Kudoz experiences a month, sharing their passion and expertise one-on-one with a youth or adult with a cognitive disability for 1 hour. Your city is a playground for learning: parks, recreation, engineering, waterworks, you name it! Amplify your disability confidence and meet up with locals living with disabilities. Historically, accessibility has been assessed based on how easily those living with physical disabilities are able to navigate public space. By joining Kudoz as a city of learning, your city is addressing the needs of residents living with cognitive disabilities and leading the way in being an inclusive place for all.

Get the ball rolling!
“It’s platforms like Kudoz that are getting the ball rolling on cognitive disabilities like we did 20 to 30 years ago with physical disabilities.” —Jonathan Cote, Mayor, City of New Westminstervolume_up
