Angie was used to calling her sister, Sandra when things didn’t go as planned while taking transit. While in Kudoz, she set out a goal of becoming more comfortable taking transit on her own and using Google maps. So, she booked an experience with the Kudoz Tech Coach. When they met, they focused on planning the route to Angie’s upcoming poetry experience. Angie was proud to report that she had been able to make it there all on her own! The next place Angie wanted to head to was a meetup group. She used Google maps to plan her route, but ended up getting off on the wrong station. Instead of calling her sister, she asked the transit staff for help. In the end, she got to the meetup, having taken ownership of every step of the travel process! Angie feels proud, saying “I definitely am more confident.”
Sandra couldn’t agree more. “Angie’s been more independent. She sees something she likes and she just signs up for it! Her confidence has really been growing and she’s discovering herself. Before, she didn’t know what she could and couldn’t do. This has been helping her figure things out for herself. She’s like a butterfly. A cocoon that’s blossoming out.”
The next time Angie met with her coach, when asked if she needed help planning the route to her next experiences. Angie replied, “No, I know where to find the addresses and can do it on my own.”volume_up
