Anson loves history. He’s especially passionate about the history of Mount Pleasant in Vancouver. He meets up with Kudoers at a little coffee shop on Main street and they start out walking down into some of the residential areas together. Anson is kind and easy going, he’ll go at your own pace and you get the chance to get to know each other along the way. Every once in a while Anson stops and points out an older house to talk about how old it probably is, a little bit about the architecture or why they are built all so snugly close together. A great thing about Anson’s Mt. pleasant experience is that, there is a lot of space to ask questions and as you and Anson get to know each other he will bring your interests into the tour and make it a little different each time. While Reza was on Anson's experience he talked a lot about where he grew up in Iran and pointed out all the differences, and similarities to the Mount Pleasant homes to his home in Iran. Anson was just as interested in what Reza had to share during the experience and they learned a lot together. Sometimes Anson goes out for a coffee with Kudoers afterwards to chat and socialize. There’s a lot to learn on this experience but it’s also a really nice way to get introduced to a new neighbourhood and socialize in new spaces.volume_up
